1. The service
OwlSonar is a subscription service that checks the public web pages of competitors you choose — on a daily schedule — and reports detected changes to you (the “Service”). These terms are an agreement between you and OwlSonar, operated from Finland. By creating an account you accept them. Contact: lari@increaseai.ai.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in details and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity in your workspace. Give us accurate account information and keep it up to date. Workspaces are organisation-scoped — invite your team rather than sharing one login.
3. Fair use of tracking
OwlSonar tracks public web pages only, at a low daily frequency designed not to burden the sites being tracked. When you add a URL, you confirm that tracking it is lawful for you. You must not use the Service to:
- track pages behind logins, paywalls or other access controls,
- circumvent technical protection measures of any website,
- collect personal data at scale or build profiles of private individuals,
- resell or republish raw snapshots of third-party pages as your own content.
4. Plans, trials and billing
New workspaces start with a 14-day free trial — no charge if you cancel before it ends. Paid plans are billed by Stripe, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on the pricing page (EUR, excluding VAT where applicable). We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next billing period.
You can cancel anytime: the plan runs to the end of the paid period, downgrades take effect immediately, and we do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it.
5. Your data and content
Your workspace configuration and the intelligence you build on top of it are yours. Snapshots and diffs are provided for your internal competitive-intelligence use; third-party page content remains the property of its owners. We may use aggregated, non-identifying usage data to improve the Service.
6. What we promise — and what we don’t
Sweeps run on a daily schedule, and alerts dispatch promptly once a change is detected. We do not promise real-time or sub-daily detection, uninterrupted availability, or that every change on every page will be caught — websites block crawlers, restructure markup, and go down. We work to keep detection accurate and the noise filtered, and we publish what each plan includes rather than what sounds good.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. Detected changes summarise third-party content and can be incomplete, delayed or wrong — verify before betting the quarter on them. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial or professional advice.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, fail to pay, or abuse the Service — with notice where practical. After cancellation your data stays exportable via the API for 30 days, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes are settled in the Finnish courts. If you use the Service as a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country’s law.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update this page and its effective date, and email you about material changes before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
